About Me

Hello World! I am a Mechanical Engineer living in Kingsport, TN near the Appalachian Mountains! I greatly enjoy meeting new people, learning languages, hiking, canoeing, and flying drones. I am laid back and always excited for the next adventure!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I hope that through every experience I can learn from every host and will be able to teach them a thing or two! :)
I think this is a fantastic way to experience new cultures and get a local taste of wherever you are traveling.

Interests

I greatly enjoy anything outdoors such as hiking, canoeing, camping, hammocking, and slacklining. I am definitely an extrovert who can hold a conversation on most everything, and always enjoy hearing new perspectives and meeting new people. Over the past few years I have been learning spanish and getting my hands on anything that would help me learn which included finding language partners on italki and making friends all over the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite band is cage the elephant, but lately I have been on a Post Malone kick! By far my favorite book series is the Sword of Truth by Terry Goodkind, I highly recommend to anyone who found Harry Potter or Game of Thrones interesting. My favorite movie without a doubt is Hot Rod. It is absolutely hilarious and I could watch it multiple times in a sitting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One time I ate termites in Belize that tasted like spearmint gum. 10/10 would do again.

Teach, Learn, Share

As someone who is always learning, I hope that I can teach and share a little bit about myself and the world in my own perspective. I am but a small molecule in a large pond, and I have much more to learn, but will share and teach what I can!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am definitely an excited, caring, and enthusiastic individual with a thirst for adventure that will never be quenched. You know that one guy who is always yelling and has a small on his face? Yeah that is usually me. Whether is is talking cultural differences, visiting local attractions, or dancing like nobody is watching, I am up for whatever and will hopefully bring a smile to your face! Also, I like beer, a lot, and would love to share one with anyone, anywhere, anytime!
