About Me

I'm rational but emphatic, calm and easygoing, nonetheless I'm talkative, with an unusual sense of humor that permeates an otherways deep and meaningful conversation, like to laugh and have a lot of life stories to tell and knowledge to share, but I need my personal time and space every day, have work to do (I'm a handyman and fix things in the apartment, preparing it for rent), so I will let you be on your own when needed. And yes, I can also shut up... and listen, especially if the conversation gets productive 8) But I can be pretty direct as I don't tolerate bullshit and get easily bored by small talk.

My lifestyle is frugal, I work to live and not live to work, so I use money wisely and prefer to invest in passive income as I want to be more free of exploitative system. I buy things sparingly, just what I need, best price/quality ratio for longer duration, don't care about brands and flashy things, prefer second-hand stuff to save Earth's resources.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I actually wanted to put the apartment on Airbnb, but as I'm an Agorist, Couchsurfing "snapped" with my philosophy better.

I don't ask for money, but if you enjoy eating with me and trying my food I don't think it's right that I should pay for the food you eat - so a little offer for food, drinks, electricity, water, heating... will be much appreciated, thanks! But there is no problem if you can't give a contribution - as I also host volunteers, like Woofers and WorkAwayers who contribute with their work any help with the chores will be appreciated.

I like to connect with people that can gain some benefit from my knowledge (for which, I must admit, I'm a sponge) or, even better, add something to it. I like to have a strong social network of reciprocity in this world where the system is flooding us with too much choices and information, while increasingly abandoning us to deal with problems on our own. So, I don't really feel the need for "traveling" anymore, it's more about visiting friends abroad. :)

I prefer to build long-lasting relationships (will give precedence to returning guests), but I would also like to meet casual lovely people, especially if they share similar values and mindset, who are curious or arouse my curiosity or just have similar interests and ways of having fun, so we can spend some quality time together! =D

I go along well with kind, reciprocal, veracious, conscientious people and I am inclusive, but on the other hand I don't go well along with egocentric, loud, pushy, pretentious, shallow, indifferent people with strong opinions, national feelings, ideologies or conspiracy theory / spirituality advocates. I also don't like small talks and I don't tolerate bullshit. I can be pretty direct and offensive for people who cannot tolerate not even constructive criticism. So if you are the "I'm perfect - don't criticize me" type of person, just avoid me.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Electronic, instrumental mixed with electronic or instrumental that mimics electronic rhythms.
Movies: I prefer documentaries, talks, lectures, tutorials... but "Walking life" and "Inception" were the most remarkable movies for me, when I still had time to waste. :P

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I delved into my subconscious through lucid-dreaming - wow, that shit feels more real than reality itself! =)

Teach, Learn, Share

Topics tagged under "My Interests", but I can also give you very good advice if you plan to stay for longer or live in Slovenia or Italy (which bank/mobile wallet to choose, which insurances to have, which GSM operator suits your usage the most, where to get the best offers and best price/quality stuff, public transport tips...).
I can teach you how to play Italian cards game Briskula, how to spin poi, how to play a didgeridoo...
I can show you some wild edibles that we can prepare together, so you will not feel lonely in the ER. :D

What I Can Share with Hosts

Apart from my apartment:
Knowledge, ideas, advice, solutions... or just funny life stories and general entertainment.
Enjoyable, funny, useful, interesting activities that are in common interest (even with "bad" weather - if it's windy we can fly a kite, if it's rainy we can play a mini pool or Cashflow table game).
Tourist information by a local: advice for where to go and what to see, with my rating added :D
Learn? Mostly useful stuff.
