About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Leave my tiny mark on this big world, and hopefully meet some interesting people along the way

ABOUT ME

After working in health education and disease surveillance in Africa for more than four years, I recently moved to DC, trading in my bug spray and sunscreen for a suit and electric toothbrush.

Fun facts about me: I grew up on a farm in northern Indiana; its flat and boring but it guards my heart and it's the only place I'll ever call home. I get antsy in my pantsy if I stay in one place or do the same thing for too long. I prefer barefoot over shoes, dogs over cats, and open windows over AC. I live by the Golden Rule and the 5-Second Rule.

PHILOSOPHY

Smile more. Hate less. Inconvenience yourself for others and expect nothing in return. Give more than you take.
