Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To live happily.
ABOUT ME
I am up for a good laugh any day of the week and I love to cook and eat asian food and drink craft beer. Yoga is my daily exercise, fermenting kombucha and ginger beer allow me to call myself a home brewer and being a believer in slow food gives me incentive to get a bigger kitchen.
Maintaining my mental freedom is my ultimate goal.
MY HOME
I live in the southwest part of Vancouver in an area called Kerrsidale. I am near the YVR airport and a bus stop. You can get downtown in 20mins and there are many shops and restaurants in walking distance. The beach isn't too far and UBC is very close by.
I work until 4:30pm during the week and I usually have evening commitments (which usually involves exercise). I am more than happy to bring you out with me wherever I go but independence on your part is also greatly appreciated. If you are a male, I'd like to meet you first before accepting you as a surfer as I'd like to feel comfortable with you. :)
PHILOSOPHY
Break all ties with programming - strive to live outside of the matrix.

Music, Movies, and Books
Pretty much everything! Underground hip hop, folk, indie rock, classical, classical reggae, electronic/house, neo-soul and yes, even some top 40! I read so many different kinds of books that I don't have a specific preference - it depends on my mood. I love comedy movies, documentaries and independent films.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Almost got the Chilean navy to take us on their boat for free to Cape Horn! So close!
Slept in a tent in the Indian desert...after drinking beer on the sand dunes as the sun set...after my camel ride.
Climbed the Huayna Potosi (6088m) in Bolivia and trekked 8 days (up to 5200m) in the Cordillera Huayhuash of Peru.
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to teach the world to grow, access and secure its own food, to depend less on consumption and to infect it with sustainable living methods. First, I want to learn every possible way to make this happen.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Cooking, fermenting, nutritional tips and my utmost respect.
