ABOUT ME

I have the undeniable privlege of working with kids in a format where I have a chance to witness and participate in their journey to become stronger. Mentally, Physically and Spiritually. What a GIFT!! Me....I try to stay young at heart, I have always been crazy about music and adventure.
Due to economic challenges, I have become quite adept at finding bargains and discounts on about everything. Of course there are garage sales, flea markets, thrift stores and craigslist....but I love the unknown good deals...such as .....a complete physical with 3 blood tests for 80.00.....I mean...Who can frickin afford a Dr.? or medical insurance? NOT ME...not yet anyway....But the place was........(Drum Roll).......

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Every time I travel, I try to particpate and I accept as many travelers as is feasible for whatever current situation I have at that moment. I have rescued and been rescued...for that I am forever grateful

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted many a cool travel here in Santa Cruz...show em our fabled West Cliff drive ..a great bike ride with world class scenery and and world class surfing. Maybe over to Paulas..surf museum/inexpensive locals breakfast joint. (everyone has always appreciated the pics, history and killer 1.99 breakfast special!! For those adventerous souls Wilder Ranch Mountain bike ride with Epic Monterey Bay Views...and for you adrenaline junkies ..hit the 10 ft steamer lane waves(just dont piss off the local boys)...world class kiteboarding at Waddell Creek..or committ suicide on a 50ft wave at Mavericks ...up the coast....Its up to you....Actually there are many relaxing things in Santa Cruz...great beaches..hiking...music...shopping....spiritual pursuits....endless new age voodoo around here too!

As for my experiences...I have been rescued off the mean streets of Rio...I have been hosted by seduced by the lovely charms of Thailand and Philippines. I sang with Angels in Mexico and seen royal estates in Britian and some of the happiest people i have seen have no money living in absolute poverty in India and Philippines. (What a Lesson!!)all thanks to my beloved CS creators & CS hosts!! You have changed my life for the better
