My life's journey has shown me that life is very precious and must not be taken for granted...that every moment and every life is to be valued.

ABOUT ME

I am a happy and healthy 57 year old mother of two children aged 25 and 21. I have lived in Australia all my life. I love the outdoors and it is in nature that I feel my soul connect. I have always lived in a rural environment and currently live on a 5 acre block where I grow lots of trees and grass and veges and have some chickens.
I enjoy meeting people and learning about other cultures and traditions. My favorite activity is bushwalking.
My children mean so much to me and I consider us a close family. Our family has a strong connection, we all value life and know how precious it is. We strive to 'seize the moment'.

PHILOSOPHY

To live for the moment, obviously with the future in mind.
Life is too short and nothing is guaranteed...make the most of the moment we have now.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have spent time in Europe several years ago and enjoyed couchsurfing for 4 nights..
I am now excited to welcome international travellers to my home. I have had a number of couchsurfers stay. In particular, I have welcomed several cyclists. I enjoy the time spent sharing our adventure stories of world travel and sharing my home and town.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A wonderful expedition to Antarctica in 2015.

Walking the Inka Trail into Machu Picchu with my children would have to be a highlight.

At the other extreme, caring for my ill husband and young family and coming out 'the other side' well adjusted and with a positive mind is a huge personal accomplishment.
