ABOUT ME

Just graduated college after 41/2 years and am very excited to see the World. Just finished traveling the United States by Greyhound Bus. It was a great adventure I took with a close friend and enjoyed every minute. My goal was to try to understand the country that I live in. I found that I have a lot in common with my countrymen and found everyone across the country to be friendly and hospitable.
I enjoy hiking/camping, snowboarding, architecture, history, photography, or anything that keeps me active. Everyone says I'm mad laid back but I feel as if I'm a very outgoing... always interested in meeting new people and enjoying a night on the town. If by chance anyone is in Fishkill NY hit me up... I know all the chill spots.

PHILOSOPHY

Ya'll might know this quote, "Life moves pretty fast, If you don't stop and look around once in while, you could miss it." Ferris Bullers Day Off. I've lived by this motto all my life and really do believe it.

I have a really close group of friends that I feel are family. I've made friends all over the world that I keep in touch with to this day.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had a few great couch surfing experiences! Everyone has been great and I have really enjoyed experiencing cities from people that live there. I have not had the opportunity to host anyone as I live in an area where not many travelers pass through. I do have plans on moving to Colorado to a ski town and will deffinetly make my couch available.

Interessen

Not a fan of TV so anything that is outdoors. I play a lot of Tennis, I snowboard whenever I can, play soccer when I can get a group together, and hike in any kind of weather. I'm a news junkie; I always like to be informed of what is going on in the world.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I'm a horror movie fan... zombie flicks are always a good choice. I wish I read more books and I promise I will start soon. Right now I am literally in the middle of 3 books and can't find any of them.

I love music, and can't imagine life without it. Everyone of my friends has a different taste in music which has made me appreciate a wide range of music. Really like Funk, Jazz, Blues, Rock and if there is a mix of all of those, I'm really happy. Starting to get into bluegrass and latin music.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I love exploring abandoned buildings. Probably has something to do with all the horror films I watch. I mostly do it for the love of photography but also the beauty of the forgotten. Most beautiful abandoned sight to see is the Hudson Valley Insane Asylum in Poughkeepsie NY. First time I went into the building, I got lost for over an hour at night without a flashlight. A friend of mine couldnt take it and had a panic attack in an old patients room. Was he possessed? Still not sure to this day.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

Hate traveling through a city worrying about all the luggage you have to carry with you. Most chain hotels will check your luggage. What I do is walk into a hotel, say I missed my flight and checked out of the hotel that morning, I will be going out to dinner and could you check my bag. It has worked everytime. Now I can walk around the city without a huge duffle bag.
