About Me

CURRENT MISSION

the journey is the reward.

ABOUT ME

I studied psychology in Münster. 2011 i was living on Canary Islands, studying one year in La Laguna (Tenerife). Now i am finishing my Master in Dresden.
I like getting to know other cultures but even more i like trying to understand them... :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i hosted some people in tenerife and surfed some couches in spain. always it was really good, interesting, instructive - just a good time and good experience! i also went to the cs-festival on cies islands (2011) and it was great!
this summer i will go to portugal with my sister to travel around and have some more couchsurfing experiences...

Interests

people, dancing salsa, dancing lindy hop, climbing, music (classical, jazz, salsa, bachata... but i also enjoy getting to know other styles of music), swimming in the rough North Sea, making music (tuba, violin and other instruments), baking and cooking, nature, languages, interesting conversations with people from all over the world!

Music, Movies, and Books

Worldmusic, Salsa, Dvorak, Elgar (cello concert), Beethoven, Bruckner, Arturo Marquez (the danzons), Stéphane Grappelli, Jazz, sometimes Reggae, HipHop and ...and music i never have heard before!
Brecht, Tucholsky, Björnstads "Vindings Spiel"
i like to watch documentaries about countries, people and nature...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

bounced, swam and played in the rough and wild North Sea!

i climbed up the Teide and saw the sunrise at this beautiful canary islands - i went swimming next to montaña pelada on Tenerife when the sun arised and nobody else has been there - i made music with other people and felt this undescribable world of intimacy, coalesence and felicity...

i have seen a very impressive sunset from a kayak on the chilean riverscapes of Chiloe. Dead trees which are reflected in the watersurface and nothing but nature.

Teach, Learn, Share

of course i like to teach my native language. and i could show you how to make delicious crêpes and pancakes (i`m working in a crêpes-booth)!
and i would love to teach you to play the tuba... well if you have one :D

i would like to improve my abilities to dance salsa and also lindy hop. and i also can show you basic things of salsa.
and some day i would like to learn "el silbo" which is a whistled language spoken by inhabitants of La Gomera.
and i would like to study Tuba, Computer sience and many other things.

and i always enjoy the experiences of making music. to show the own way of making it, to explore the way of other people and to unite all and have a goosebumps-experience.
