I’ve heard such great stories about this program and wanted to get involved and would love to couchsurf on my next adventure, host a surfer or offer local knowledge.
After living out of a backpack staying in backpackers dorms for a extended time I know the pleasure of having a comfortable bed ,hot shower and not having to lock up everything
locals know where the place to visit are

living on a remote island 5 hrs north of toronto,completely lose track of whats happening in the world no phone,no internet for 10 weeks
going to shanghai china and see a completely different life(so lucky in australia)
living in darwin felt like it was 5 years behind melbourne mainly due to the careless lifestyle
