I am on here guys but I sometimes don't check as often as I like. With all the new features the site gets confusing bc I am not on a lot. I havent updated my bio in awhile either.

ABOUT ME

Hello, I am Wu and I am currently teaching english in South Korea. I was born in Beijing, China and then moved to New York City during the late eighties. Moved around a bit and by the time college came I went to three more schools later on. I am a pretty laid back person. Not really into the finish school, find a good job, get married , by a house, retire thing. I think there is more to life than this. And I think life is so short for us to stay in one place. We are only a dot in this time line.through this insignicant life that we all have I find what is most significant about life.

PHILOSOPHY

Trying to capture the each moment of life and maximizing it because it will never come back again. Living with a purpose. Curious about the future that is to come!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to meet cultured people who have a passion for soaking up the world as much as I do. Maybe it can be hanging out, being hosted or hosting. I can also learn a lot of different things from their experience of the world. Currently I am in South Korea so if you are around the way, shoot me a line!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I signed up this a long time ago but never got the chance to finish this. Aside from couch surfing I have met friends from different parts of the world who were nice enough to host me and vice versa. Spent time in tokyo, rio de janiero and as I write today, staying a friend's place in Stockholm, Sweden, whom I met while on a whale watching trip to Mexico.

兴趣

The exciting part: I love to travel on the cheap because I am far from rich in money but really rich in life. not sitting in an office, not working in the same place doing the same boring thing. I enjoy running, riding my bicycle, read, photography, sign language and writing my journal as I paint my life.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Teaching in south korea. Went to the olympics in beijing, my hometown. Been to Cuba. Went to not one but three universities. Learned sign language and got a degree from it. Love to ride my bike. Had a wonderful time in high school. Ran on the track team. Been keeping a journal since 1997. On my 10th country if you count the USA, will be seeing more. writing a travel blog.

Growing up as a poor kid I some how managed to travel to many different places in the world. Hopefully someone in my situation will also be able to travel
