ABOUT ME

I'm Chris. I like music and languages. I play a couple of instruments (mainly drums and guitar) and I'm planning on learning more. I'm in Paris until the end of August. I'm supposed to be here to speak French, but having fun is definitely what I'm really looking forward to :)

C'est Chris. J'aime la musique et les langues. Je joue de quelques instruments (principalement de la batterie et de la guitare) et j'ai l'intention d'en apprendre plus. Je vais être à Paris jusqu'à la fin d'août. Je suis censé d'être ici pour parler du français, mais sans aucun doute c'est plutôt rigoler que j'attends avec impatience :)

Music (listening and playing/writing), reading, walking, exploring cities, going on subways, making cheesecake (baked, obviously), finding out about people, overhearing random conversations in public places, playing with cats, trying to convince people Russian literature is worth it (try Bulgakov, Pushkin, Chekhov, Akhmatova)...

La musique (écouter et jouer/écrire), lire, me promener, explorer des grandes villes, prendre des métros, faire des cheesecake (cuits, évidemment), apprendre au sujet des gens, entendre des conversations au hasard dans des lieux publiques, jouer avec des chats, essayer de convaincre des gens que la littérature russe vaut la peine (essayez Boulgakov, Pouchkine, Tchekhov, Akhmatova)...

I can and have taught beginner guitar, drums, bass, piano, music theory, calligraphy, linguistics, programming (Python, C, C++, J), Latin and Ancient Greek. I can do intermediate/advanced English, French and Russian grammar too. Speaking with a Northern English accent?

Je peux enseigner (et j'ai enseigné dans le passé) de niveau fondamental guitare, batterie, basse, piano, théorie musicale, calligraphie, linguistique, programmation (Python, C, C++, J), latin et grec ancien. Je peux aussi faire grammaire intermédiaire/avancée de l'anglais, du français ou du russe. Parler avec un accent du nord d'Angleterre?
