About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel more more and more

ABOUT ME

I love meeting new people with different backgrounds.
I make friends very easily, can be very social but sometimes can be very shy too.

Im Hungarian so my humour is usually pretty sarcastic, not everyone gets it. Some people say I'm not funny...I think I am:).

I'm honest, sincere, very straightforward with everyone. I like to help in any way that I can.

I dont drink coffee, I dont smoke, I dont do drugs...I looooove my drinks though and never say no to a good night out:)

I traveled quite a bit and lived in a couple of countries but the travel bug never lets me rest...i wanna see more and more and more of the world so I'm afraid I'm gonna have to keep playing the lottery for a bit longer.

PHILOSOPHY

Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I cant host anyone ATM but I'm happy to point you to the right direction if you're in Sydney or in Hungary.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never tried it.
My friend who was travelling for a year advised me to do it.
He has changed my view of traveling completely.
Before all I wanted to do is to relax in luxurious hotels, be pampered in every way. Now I'm more interested in getting closer to other cultures, meeting new people, be part of the local life and not just be an outsider who visits only the touristy destinations.

Interests

I'm pretty open to try anything new as long as it doesn't endanger my life. No, NO bungee jumping BUT I would try hang gliding, sky diving, scuba diving...wanna learn surfing too.

I love snowboarding. If I could afford it I'd be in the snow for a couple of weeks every year.

I love anything that's outdoors. Bushwalking, cycling, beach, BBQ, snorkelling, camping!!!!
But I also like my quiet days at home watching TV, movies, eating ice cream....even for brekkie if nothing else is in the fridge;) (cookies and cream yummm)

I used to draw a lot and I love photography so I have a little artistic blood in my veins too:)

I love cooking however because of work (pretty busy) I dont have much time to practise and I'm sure I forgot a lot already.

I'd love to learn more languages. Perhaps Spanish or Italian, or maybe both?

I'm also in love with wildlife. No wonder why my dream destination is the Galapagos Islands.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a movie junkie and I watch all kinds of movies from romantic chick flicks through dramas and real stories to fantasy and scify. Anything!!!!!
If I started writing a list of favourite movies this list would never end!!!

As for music again I love all kinds of music but I dont really have favourites. I just listen whatever I feel like listening.
I love live music, festivals...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Shark diving... it was in a cage though, so not a big deal.
Swam with dolphins, I was so happy then....but after watching The cove I'm pretty ashamed I did that.:/

Well this is not related to traveling but like I said I like helping people in any way.
I do support a lot of charities: Cancer council, Movember...

Just recently I organised and mostly payed for my friend’s family to surprise visit from the other side of Australia whom she hadn’t seen for years. My friend's face was priceless when she saw her dad and brother at the front door:) Video got on Facebook and I pretty much made everyone cry....it was that emotional and nice:) Am pretty proud of it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think everyone has something to offer. I can teach you Hungarian...not sure how useful that could be though:)
I can also show you the best shot (pálinka) ever and my signature Hungarian dish: paprikas csirke.
