About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Freedom!

ABOUT ME

I am young and free! I am a very active person and got the travel bug on my trip to Israel. I feel it is very important to me to expand my world at the moment and see different cultures since California doesn't have much.
I am an artist, thinker, writer, musician , traveler, and learner of all things.
I just try to not take life so seriously.
I think I am pretty witty so well at least I think I am funny.

PHILOSOPHY

"Why not?" is my philosophy on life really. Keep all the doors and windows open and impose your chance in life. I live my life because nobody else will. I am young but that is no excuse to wait. It is the perfect excuse to be free and explore, adventure and enjoy to the fullest of my capabilities. Say no only when you really know why you are turning something down. I even got it tattooed on me :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I travel, my plan is to explore the country to its fullest. As I make my way around the country I want to make new friends and stay at different locations. I would want to crash on different couches all around the country wherever I would be welcomed. I love to try the food and see what is unique only there. I also think this site is great to just meet up with people to figure out some random adventure in the new place you are in to find other people who want to get up and move. I bring some extra dash of spice I think and some laughs here and there, but mostly I think I like to bring smiles.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosting: I hosted two Germans at my old house in Santa Cruz, California. They crashed on our couches for a couple days and we had a great time hosting them. When I lived in Tasmania I hosted 3 Columbian travelers. And Since I have moved back home I have hosted 2 Austrian girls, 1 Australian guy, and 1 German girl. And they have all been amazing!

Surfing: I now have couchsurfed all through Australia and New Zealand and am addicted for life. I have met the most incredibly kind and hospitable people not to mention being extremely unique and awesome. I am traveling at the moment so i am looking forward to each experience of meeting someone new and immersing myself in their world. I also have been saved by a couchsurfer when I was stuck in a predicament and didnt have a place to stay, she took me in without question and i am forever grateful. So, my experiences with CS has been ones to cherish and hopefully continue!

Interests

Pretty much I am person open to most things. Most importantly though, I want to continue to travel. I think the things I want to do most are the things I havent heard of yet. And for now, I am living my dream, traveling the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

Zoolander,Into the Wild, Fight Club, V for Vendetta, Notorious (Hitchcock), Anchorman, Superbad, Finding Nemo, Love and Other Drugs and Brief Encounter are my favorite movies at the moment but those are my random collection.

"East of Eden" by Steinbeck is my favorite book, along with Dr. Sues's "Oh, all the places you'll go!" Also, "History of Love" or any Nicole Krauss book. I have recently been reading the book A New Earth, by Echkhart Tolle which I think every traveler should read.

Music, well i am open to most all music. I have my good vibes music but I also have my top forties pleasures. Mostly, I just want to dance or be able to relax.

And I love to play the guitar and drums or just be around other people playing

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I cant just pick one! I hiked Half Dome in Yosemite, which I am very proud of. I won an art contest and had my artwork posted all over the San Francisco Bay Area inside the BART (public transit) in California. Going to Israel and climbing Mount Masada for the Sunrise was also incredible. While in Australia snorkeling with sharks, octopus, sea turtles, sting rays, etc., was one of the coolest things I have ever done! Oh and Bungy Jumping in New Zealand! But really, enjoying each moment is the amazing part of life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think I have a lot to share. I am not the most talented at anything I do but I do love to teach what I know if anyone is at all interested. I have taught anyone who has shown interest, some guitar. I also know a lot about psychology and love discussing and learning about it from every type of person. And I also have an ear to learn more about any subject because I am a very curious person with lots of questions. I love to share my energy and spirit for life and living!I also like to discuss travel and give and get hints on other destinations. One thing i would love to learn is how to cook better. It is my favorite thing to learn, but i just cant seem to learn enough.
