About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Be part of the world changes (what ever that means), and try to help it go in a direction which suits me. Which means : going towards more equity between peoples, genders, social level, human and all other living-beings.
And no, I'm not out spaced. I know the world is going badly on one side, but that's not an excuse to do nothing to go in a better direction. Small everyday actions from many unknown people worth much more than empty speeches from bigger entities...

ABOUT ME

Of which ME am I suppose to speak about now?
The funny one, or the worried one?
The one who speaks too much, or the shy one?
The girly one, or the Rock'n'Roll one?
The very sociable one or the one who likes to be lonely?
...
As everybody, I'm several person in one !!

PHILOSOPHY
Freedom is quite important to me, but as living without restrictions is impossible I think that Freedom is to be able/have the possibility to choose the restrictions one agree to deal with.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Depending on the time I have and on my living situation which is most of the time quite unstable, so I hardly can host people. But I'm happy to meet new persons and share whatever can by shared...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far only positive ones!

Interests

Dance (of course!), music, cinema, travelling, cooking, sewing, talking, drawing, DIY, hanging around, partying, being in nature, going dancing Argentin Tango, making stupid jokes/playing with words. Experiencing/challenging any kind of things even if at first what I try can look stupid or odd. I like experimental things, becarfull, my cooking can be so too...! ha ha

And so many other things ...

  • books
  • dancing
  • tango

Music, Movies, and Books

Films:
Lost in Translation (Sofia Coppola)
In the Mood for Love (Wong Kar WaÏ)
I'm not there (Todd Haynes)
Cash Back
Movies from Inarritu
Movies from Tim Burton... and so many others

Hum, havn't been much to cinema those last months/years, no time (?) arghh!... But in general I'm rather keen on independant cinema than in blockbusters.

Music: I like diversity in general. Maybe easier and shorter to talk about what I don't like : I'm not so keen on Reggae and Metal. And yeah, I like many music styles, but it's tough for my ears when it's too commercial ...

I'll give here some of the "love at first listening" I had the past 15 years : American minimalism, Astor Pizzola, Bulgarian sacral music, Sainkho Namtchylak,
Also, it took me quite some time to get into Jazz music, but now I love it. And actually, I think I can listen any kind of Jazz, from classics to electro, until freejazz.
And yeah, like for all the rest, I like quite experimental stuff, such as electroacoustic music.

Book:
What comes between my hands when I have time to read, which is usually when I'm at some friends place, so depend on their taste.
I quite much like also to read some independant comics.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 21-22 I stopped my "normal job" (I mean a kind of secure job, where ones work and get payed for that in the end of each month) to start dancing with the aim of being a professionnal dancer. Was quite tough but I felt that was the right track for me!
Now I am a professionnal dancer, yeah. Still tough to earn my living through that, but I'm there, yeah !

Teach, Learn, Share

Sharing knowledge, thoughts, experiences of daily life, experiences of the world.
Sharing ways of cooking, leaving. Sharing the music, books, movies, meals we love...

What I Can Share with Hosts

My main interest with Couch Surfing is to meet and share with very different people and from many different countries. What we will share and exchange will depend of how and where our personalities can meet !
For me, meeting Couchsurfers while I'm travelling, is also a way to get to know the culture of a country, while spending time with people from this country.

Basically, I'm happy to meet you whether your are white, black, red, green...
Happy to meet you whether your are heterosexual, homosexuel, queer...
Happy to meet you whether you are butcher, scientist, philosopher, jobless...
... as long as you are open-minded!

Countries I’ve Visited

Ireland, Italy, Japan, Kenya, Portugal, Scotland, Spain, Sweden, Thailand

Countries I’ve Lived In
