In the 6th grade my aunt, cousin and I saved all of our change and extra cash to take a trip. Finally, we accomplished our goal, and took the first trip to England Little did I know, this trip would change the trajectory of his life. Throughout my teenage years of traveling, I learned to immerse myself in different places and communities, ultimately leading me to study Global Environmental Studies at Clark University upon graduating from Oakland Friend School. It was at Clark where I studied the relationship of how humans affect the environment (both natural and created) and how in turn, the environment affects and shapes the human experience. During College, I started to visit my friends that I had made in school in their home states and countries. As I started to see more of the world and meet people along the way, I realized that this was not just a fad or a hobby but a lifestyle. Since then travel has been a major part of my life that is a part of who I am. Story telling has always been a major part of life and right now I am working on how to help bring people in to my experience around the globe in the hope that they can help create their own adventure and self-exploration in whatever way works best for themselves.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One of my goals is to see the world. I think that through travel we learn how to be a better person, we learn to be more expectant, we learn about other cultures but most of all we learn about ourselves. I hope to, at some point visited every country in the world and by you allowing me to coach surf you are helping me reach my goal. I also love making new friends along my travels and who better to learn about a space but from than a locals.
