Life! Trying to get established in my career and save up some money to potentially go on some big trips in the future.

ABOUT ME

I'm a very friendly, happy, and easy-going person. It takes a lot to stress me out. I love to try new things, see new places, and meet new people. I'm not picky about anything: music, housing accommodations, food, etc. I'm also very hard-working and have a real passion for life.

I currently live in Columbus, OH where I work as a Senior Chemist / Prep Lab Manager for the Organic Chemistry Teaching Labs at the Ohio State University. I also just started an MBA at OSU. I graduated with my Master's of Science from Purdue University in Ecological Sciences and Engineering doing climate change research in May 2018. I graduated in May 2013 from the University of Toledo with degrees in Bioengineering and Biochemistry. I've been to 50 countries, Couchsurfing in many of them, and I hope to continue traveling in the future.

I have used the site for a couple years now and have had some amazing interactions with people. I have only surfed so far but when I am able, I would love to start hosting people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed over 15 times in many different countries and have loved every time. Couchsurfing is an amazing site and I have met some incredible people through using it.

Interests

I love to travel and have new experiences. Whether this is trying local food and drink, sight-seeing, meeting interesting people, or going on adventures, I'm always looking to see or do something new. I like anything from going hiking and camping out in the woods to dancing at a club to scuba diving.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I participated in Semester at Sea in Spring 2012. I had so many amazing experiences that I can't recall all of them here. Some select few were hiking up Table Mountain and going Great White shark cage diving in South Africa, going down the Amazon River in Brazil, and going on a sunrise boatride on the Ganges River in Varanasi, India.

I've also been on two extensive backpacking trips, one throughout Europe (and also Russia, Turkey, and Israel) for 3 months in Summer 2012, and a 3 month trip through SE Asia and also South Korea in Summer 2013.
