ABOUT ME

I am Zach, 36, a California native. Ive been living in Grass Valley the past four years, sending a large portion of my time working on my house and in the backyard, planting trees, bamboo, and veggies. In former phases of life, I have loved to travel and explore our world; currently I haven't had much of a chance to travel so I have been content exploring the beautiful rivers and swimming holes that surround my area. I love good food, drink, live music, strumming my guitar or playing the piano, and meeting new people. I work for myself installing gardens and irrigation systems and doing garden consultations. I'm blessed to work with my hands doing something I really enjoy. I love adventures tho I have had too few of them recently. Always open to making new friends.

I have been blessed in meeting amazing people and having been helped numerous times by folks all over the world: I'd love to pass on the helping hand by providing a place to sleep or perhaps a little local knowledge to travellers passing thru my neck of the woods!

I love live music of almost any kind, and enjoy rock, blues, jazz, americana, and anything else honest and true. If I had to pick a favorite band I'd probably go with The Wood Brothers.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share about making beer, southeast asian adventure, bodyboarding in paradise, making pottery (especially killer handthrown dumbek drums), and cooking. Also gardening and growing of many things. Also guitar playing. And old blues music.

I want to learn more about permaculture design, and medicinal plants. becoming a better person, and continually learning a bit of every language that I come in contact with.
