About Me

I consider myself being an open-minded person who likes having good company. Talking, laughing and going out with friends, travelling, singing and doing sports are the things that make my life worthwhile.

To put it in one sentence:
curious about and thankful for the beautiful moments life can offer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I always loved to travel and to meet people from other countries. Before I joined the CS community, I used to exchange houses with other people. ( e.g. in Paris, Almeria or Geneva) and living like a local was a very enriching experience. But to meet locals, get to know them and their way of living for a couple of days, seems even more interesting and is something that I am really curious about.

Interests

Various...
I am very passionate about sports, especially about football. As I also love music, I recently got a piano and am now teaching myself to play it.
I like food, wine, books, movies, ...

Music, Movies, and Books

Difficult to say...
I would say that I have a very broad taste of music- always depending on my mood.
From classic to Jack Johnson,, but sometimes Korn, too.
As for movies, I also don`t have a particular genre that I prefer: from "Gravity" to Django" as well as "Hangover" ...
Favorite authors are Andreas Eschbach, T.C. Boyle, John Irving, Paulo Coelho...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After graduating from college I went to South America for 4 months and travelled through Peru, Bolivia, Chile and Ecuador.
In the Peruvian rain forest, I stayed with indigenous people for three days and it was an unforgettable experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a professional teacher , so, of course, I can teach you,:)
Everybody can teach, learn and share by just hanging around with a couple of drinks and exchanging experiences in life, personal views on how people, cultures, nations are- from a different perspective...
To do that in another language with a local or with a foreigner with whom you share a short amount of time of your life makes me feel alive and connects me to the world outside.
