About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Discovering the secret to personal flight

ABOUT ME

I'm terrible at writing descriptions of myself. I consider myself a fairly well-rounded individual, although I'm sure some would disagree. I've played several sports including Baseball and Basketball. I play video games, read novels, go to movies, and I'm in the many different animes as well. I will try most anything at least once. I am energetic and random, and I'm not one for sitting around without something to do. Occasionally I travel around Ohio and the surrounding states to go to various Anime and Gaming Conventions, where I help to exhibition Morton's List. There's much more to tell, but I'm terrible at just talking about myself with nothing to go off of. A much better way to handle this would be to ask me specific questions :P

PHILOSOPHY

I'm completely open to discussing this and more if you're interested, just ask!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm fairly new to the CS community, introduced to it by a group of friends who travel much more than I do, but I hope to meet many great people and share my experiences with them as well as learn from what they have to tell. My roommates and I are now able to host people, and I hope to meet a lot of great people with unique experiences.

Interests

Oh my, interests.

First and foremost, Morton's List. Ask me about Morton's List if you're looking for some random fun, to kill some boredom, and possibly a long-winded explanation, haha.

Anime and manga including but not at all limited to Bleach, One Piece, The Irresponsible Captain Tylor, Pani Poni Dash, Hellsing, Beck, Black Lagoon, Burst Angel, Speed Grapher, Naruto, Eyeshield 21, Claymore, Samurai X, Cowboy Bebop, Excel Saga, and I wish I could think of more but I guess this is a good starting list.

I fiddle with computers a lot, have built my own and am asked on occasion to help various friends, family members, and more obscure connections with their technical problems. I also have experience with Audio-visual work.

I play a lot of video games, enjoying masterpieces from every genre, although I'm not a fan of the racing or sports genres in general. However there are spectacular games that have come from each. I enjoy tons of games old and new, from Sonic and Mario, to Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy, to Halo and Call of Duty, The Legend of Zelda, Donkey Kong, Super Smash Bros, etc.

I also believe in many spiritual aspects of life, working closely with Ki, Reiki, Psi, and various other forms of energy work. I have been training myself for 5 years now.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music wise I'll basically listen to anything, but to name the bands I can think of off hand: The Protomen, Jet Lag Gemini, Beat Crusaders, UVERworld, Mewithoutyou, Kennedy, Tripod, Flyleaf, Sambomaster, Shaimus, Dir En Gray, Steriogram, HIGH and MIGHTY Color, Stance Punks, L'Arc~En~Ciel, FLOW, Yui, DIO, Frou Frou, Stephen Lynch, They Might Be Giants, and Artic Monkeys . There are so many more it would probably take me a few hours (days if you count how often I would get distracted from my task) to compile them all.

When it comes to books I can't even begin to remember how many or even which books I've read in total. I'm currently rereading the Princess Bride because it was such an excellent book. I'm really into works by Ted Dekker, who rights mostly fantasy and thrillers. I've only just started reading Green, which completes the Circle Trilogy and can't wait to see what comes next from him.

I'm a fan of many movies as well, seeing them in theaters, on television, etc. My roommates and I have Netflix on my Xbox 360, and we watch various Movies, Animes, and television shows on it all the time, so the list of movies and shows I've seen has grown exponentially recently.
