New York is the most populated, most diverse, and most economically powerful city in the United States. Ride the elevator to the 86th floor of the Empire State Building for a staggering view of Manhattan in all its glory. Then head south to see the lights of Times Square and visit the 9/11 Memorial, where the former foundations of the Twin Towers have been converted to memorials to the victims and heroes of the September 11th terrorist attacks. New York is an oasis for the food lover as well; get Lo Mein in Chinatown, bangers and mash in Chelsea, tiramisu in Little Italy, or a delicious hot dog from a cart on any of the city’s sidewalks.
