About Me

I’m a mexican german who moved to Oaxaca in 2022 to learn more about my mexican culture and be able to spend time with my family here. I grew up in the german Alps and studied in Austria. Since I was a little child I travelled to Italy often and feel really close to Italian cuisine and culture. I would describe myself as a social introvert- I enjoy my own company but I also like to meet new people and spend time with those who are already in my life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to learn more about other cultures and in my opinion it's the best to stay with locals to get to know the country. As I'm a passionate traveler who loves to meet new people and to share some time with them.

Interests

I love concerts, festivals, travelling but I also appreciate the small things in life like cooking, reading, hanging out with friends, drinking tea and or coffee, going to the cinema, yoga, ... Always interested to learn new stuff. For example I’m trying to knit a cardigan - let’s be honest and say I’m doing baby steps.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I visited my second home Mexico each summer the last few years. It was amazing travelling around this beautiful country for a few months. I learned how to work with silver and amber in San Cristobal de las Casas. That was the most satisfying work I've ever done so I decided to become a goldsmith.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think I'm quite good at cooking. It would be really nice to cook some meals together and learn some new recipes.
