About Me

ABOUT ME

Grew up in the country and loved it. Runnning around with dogs and horses and catching frogs in the pond. Got the traveling bug some years ago with the help of my spread out family and super adventurous friends and been loving it ever since.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really like the idea of what the Couchsurfing community can be. A way for people to connect and share experiences. I think it makes traveling more accesible to people and I know the more people I meet and the more places I see, the more I learn and grow as an individual.

Interests

Learning more Spanish, seeing new places, swimming in high elevation lakes, hiking in the sierras. I like people watching and drinking my coffee slowly. I am interested in history and culture and how it shapes places.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to converse in Spanish and share stories about my travels. I love sharing my experiences living abroad and information about teaching programs I have participated in. I enjoy cooking and being a good guest by helping to cook or clean up. I'm super flexible and although it is awesome to get a local's perspective I am fine on my own if a host has other engagements.
