About Me

I'm an outgoing guy from Düsseldorf, Germany.
I am spontaneous and always up for fun stuff.
In my worklife I am an engineer in an aluminium production plant and I do process optimization there.
At work and in my life beside I am very communicative.
With a beer and some good music, I can talk the whole evening about whatever comes up...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I maybe can host people, just send a request.

Of course I can show everyone the city of Düsseldorf if you want to. But even better are the events (especially in summer) like the french festival, the big celebration at the rhine-side, carnival,...
One of the best things Düsseldorf offers is the rhie-river, perfect to hang out at the paradise beach or having bbq in summer.

And I would like to see at least 99.9 % of all the couches all over the world. Ok, I admit, I'm happy if there is one couch in the place I want to stay for me to sleep and if there are some nice people to hang around and showing me the city/place.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I think the idea of couchsurfing is awesome. The connection of travelling and meeting new people is a very good idea.
When I was in Iceland Couchsurfing was a very important page for me. On the one hand we surfed on a couch and on the other hand we've met a guy from America who traveled around the island with us. So I don't want miss couchsurfing on my next few trips, too.

Interests

hiking, cooking, surfing, playing (beach-)volleyball, jogging, climbing mountains, snorkeling, scuba diving, swimming, meeting friends, going out, drinking beer, of course travelling, meeting new people, discovering new cultures, movies, concerts, soccer and my favourite team Dortmund and much more. You have to find it out!

Currently I started brewing my own craft beer with some friends. Quite Interesting and super tasty :)
Also I started scuba diving last year in Thailand.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a positiv guy so I like funny movies and comedy.
But I am also open for other movies like fantasy movies (Lord of the rings) and of course action movies.
I really enjoy watching independent movies in on of the oldest cinemas in my city.

I listen to nearly all kind of music. But I prefer rock music. I sometimes visit some concerts or festivals, too :)

About books, at the moment I'm reading a book about Charles Darwin and his travel around the world.
