About Me

Hey lads!
We have a pretty tight schedule these days, but we can normally host for up to two nights during the week, in the weekends we are gone to our hometowns or travelling.

ABOUT ME

I'm a former student at the University of Transilvania in Brasov, Romania, having studied cultural studies/foreign languages. But that's only a tiny part of it. I'm also very much vivid and always enjoying to try out new things and experiences.
I'm someone who likes reasoning and logic, tend to usually do the right thing, so basically don't see myself playing a badass character in a movie.
I came to Brasov because of it's medieval and historical sites, it's proximity to the mountains, it's beauty and for the loads of foreigners/tourists that come visit it.
I would like to make the world a better place, so why not start saving the world with this alongside other projects and actions?

PHILOSOPHY

I feel that in order to be a better part of the universe, one should give as much as possible, because helping is where the fun really begins, that's where you feel accomplished and a better person, and undoubtedly , do good and you will have good in your life.
Be open minded, accept others as they are and try to learn something from every person and every experience that you have, try to travel a bit to enlighten and broaden your mind and perspectives, and try to live your life through values and friendship, for they are the real treasures, being surrounded by only material goods will make you miserable at one point.

I personally think that you have fulfilled your role in life by being the better person whom others will look up to, not necessarily by having a steady career or what not. As I used to say, Life is for the living, so don't sleep it or spend it in a desk, live it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I tend to take part in CS meetings/gatherings/events whenever I can, and I have hosted quite a lot of people from all the continents, even more at a time, and also surfed a couple times in the UK, and I'm quite happy with both, although I feel that hosting gives a better sense of responsability and accomplishment and being part of something. I'm quite optimistic that the future experiences will rise to my expectations after hosting, travelling, and being hosted by such amazing people who normally one wouldn't know they existed.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met two really interesting and friendly American surfers on the train in my country,a brother and sister actually, whom I talked 4 hours with and they enlightened me about couch surfing and how awesome it is, therefore I started having more couch surfing experiences and loved every part of them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bathed in the Sea of Marmara, Dardanelle Crossing in October.
Met a high priestess of the Druids at Stonehenge!
I have done a 5 days trip in the Fagaras mountains, and climbed atop the highest mountain peak in our country, Moldoveanu peak. It was the most challenging, amazing and unique experience as we met some really harsh conditions, such as walking 7 hours straight in showering cold rain, walking also many hours in the night, being a step away from death most of the time when we were near the top, and got bitten 26times by somewhat poisonous spiders(no,I'm not Spiderman now, if that's what you wonder) also met a really angry bear.. don't know how we got alive from that one.
But all the landscapes and sunsets and dawns and rivers and cliffs and reaching the top and my friends... oh it was wonderful.
