CURRENT MISSION - Learning French and letting my Spanish loose

I am updating my profile now and, my 20-year-old-self wrote this, when I had just joined Couch Surfing:

"I think life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets! It's hard to believe in people sometimes but if we want a better world we need to teach them how to love! so love the people who treat you right, forget about the ones who don't, and believe that everything happens for a reason. Take the chances life gives you and let them change your life! "

It seems like I already had it all figured out, man!
It's funny because I wouldn't write such text nowadays, that I am 30. I would just write something like this:

I am a Brazilian woman who has been having an amazing journey in life, making great friends, eating amazing food, travelling a bunch and listening to some lovely sounds. I am friendly, enjoy talking over food and music, respectful and helpful just like my mama taught me.

Although my speech has become shorter and my need to explain how I see life doesn't exist anymore, my heart carries the same philosophy and thus, this text remains on this profile.

I am traveling around South and Central America and I intend to spend some time meeting people and learning French in Guadeloupe, in the Caribbean!
