I am a Colombian biologist passionate about understanding the phenomena of nature. From my little one that passion began to study the different forms of life.

I also like education, since I consider it the best tool to have a harmonious society. I have worked the last two years in an NGO called Enseña por Colombia, belonging to the worldwide network Teach for all, which seeks to reach these vulnerable places and away from my country and provide quality education. This experience that has allowed me to know the different educational forms of the world sharing ideas with young leaders from various parts of the world.

Now, I'm working in Ollantaytambo- Perú in the fantastic Sacred Valley of the Incas. I'm teacher on a small alternative farm/school. I want learning a about this educational proposal, gives you incredible tools to change lives.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is what every traveler needs: a healthy alternative to meet people around the world and share real experiences with people. I am in this network because I like to explore in depth the realities of others, to be able to share cultures and ideas and to be able to learn a lot from others.

Interests

I am one of those people who enjoys small moments. I love to take a good hike in the mountains, on the beach, wherever. I like to chat while sharing a coffee or a tea. I like to draw and paint, they are nice ways to capture something. I like to read and write, they are a good source of understanding and, most importantly, I like to learn from experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like so much several indie rock bands: Kodaline, of mosters and men, foster the people, James Bay, Son of the east, Two door cinema club, Walk the moon. I also like Tame Impala, MGMT, The Strokes, The Lumineers and other.

I actually like movies of Gaspar Noé and Lars von Trier, David Lynch.

I read so much about biology and history, Yaval Harari, Edward O. Osborne.,and like some autors like Paul Auster, Poe and Garcia Marquez.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The trip that I made to Israel was great, I learned a lot about a culture that I never imagined I knew, the coolest thing I did was to float on the Dead Sea and tour the beautiful Jerusalem.

What I Can Share with Hosts
