About Me

Hey guys, I am Dominic originally from Hamburg, Germany but I have not really been living much at home in the last 6 years due to studying, internships, and travelling. I am currently living in Aarhus, Denmark to do my masters degree. Our programme ofers the great opportunity to go abroad and do fieldwork which is why I am currently at the British Virgin Islands.
I am much into sports, especially soccer and american football, most other ball sports, swimming and skiing. I like being in the nature and hanging out with friends...so doing sports with friends in the nature would be an awesome combination haha.
For partying, I go with the mix of a typical German (beer as main beverage :D) who lived quite a long time in Latinamerica (some latin, reggae music to dance and sing). But I guess I am quite open to call kind of music.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

At the moment I am trying to find accommodation on the British Virgin Islands (Tortola) from August to December. I am going to intern at the Department of Disaster Management for this time and since I am still living with my student budget, most of the tourist houses are not really affordable. Therefore, I actually would be very thankful for any tips & advices regarding housing in Tortola. Thanks a lot in advance :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Most of my foreign country experiences have been really funny, with good memories, and amazing friends. They have also been fruitful in terms of finding my passion in life, figuring out what kind of carrier suits me, and how much I like my family and friends back home. And yet, here am I again, going to the other side of the world for a few month, hoping to come back with a lot of new experiences, memories and stories to tell.
