Hi! I am Beñat, a basque guy. Nowadays I work as a Elementary/Primary School teacher, but previously I studied to become a personal trainer and I have worked as a lifeguard in a swimming pool. Also, I trained kids in different sports (football, basketball, handball, athletics ...).
As well you can see I love sports. I practice trail running, mountain biking, hiking, climbing... Besides this, I love nature, reading and traveling because this is an excelent way to know new places and people.

I have already traveled around some European and South American countries but I need more and more. I think traveling slowly it's the best way to know each culture and people, so Couchsurfing it's a perfect way. For me traveling is share, fun, enjoy, cry, meet, say bye, fall in love... it's life!

- Chulu West 6300m (Nepal)
- Irun-Lisboa by bike, 8 days and 1145km.
- Huayna Potosi, 6088m (Bolivia)
- Travel around south America with a friend for four amazing months (Workaway, Couchsurfing, Hostels...)
- Work as a volunteer in a Refugee Camp in Chios (Greece) for three weeks in Christmas.
- Work for three months in a cooperation project in Piura (Peru) and traveling around Peru.
- Work in a hostel (Bovec, Slovenia) by Workaway, for a month.
- Done twice the North Way of Saint James by bike.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can show you this amazing part of the Basque Country: Hondarribia, Hendaia, Irun and different places, beaches, mountains...
Also, I can teach you our lenguage, Euskara (Basque), the oldest one of Europe.
