About Me

I'm Dénes Sallai, from a huge family. I have three sisters and three brothers as well. All of them are younger then me, so sometimes I'm like a kindergarten teacher :D
I spend most of my time with travelling, mainly in the nature. I'm kinda lucky becouse I live near the mountains and the capital city, Budapest as well.
As a prospective sociologist, I would like to travel as much as possible and see other societys and the way they live. I also like to experience the athmosphere of places all around the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Just as most of the couchsurfers, I think this is a very exciting way to travel and get to know people from different cultures.

Interests

As I have already mentioned at the introducing part I really like travelling in the nature with somebody else or even alone. My favourite places to go are the mountains. I love the atmosphere of the forest and the breathtaking landscapes.
I'm extremely interested in music. I'm not a good player but a good listener :D
I listen to several genres and I think one big advantage of couchsurfing is to increase the number of the musics I know with talking to people and I can share my knowledge ad well.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am really into balkanian folk music, for example Goran Bregovich and Gogol Bordello. I also like progressive-rock and space-rock furthermore experimental-rock. Nowadays I listen to a lot of Tom Waits.
If I should name some of my favorite directors, they would be Emir Kusturica, Anders Jensen and Wes Anderson.
I enjoyed reading Orwell's 1984, some of Gabriel Gracia Marquez's novels and I also like Gerald Durrel.
