Hi everyone! My name is Marcos and I'm 34. I'm an outgoing, open-minded, down-to-earth, curious and funny guy that has lived in Oviedo (Asturias) for 14 years. Before coming to Oviedo, I lived in a small town called Grandas de Salime, in the western part of Asturias. I've studied Software Engineering and I'm preparing my thesis at the same time that I'm working at an IT company as a web developer. I have a lovely cat named "Pulgazas." Problem is the name is too long to repeat all day long so he goes by "Cosa" (Thing).

UPDATED JULY 2022: I'm back at it somehow. Decided to give it another try after covid pandemic and I'm travelling with my girlfriend Aurora thru the Balcans from the 14th to the 29th. After that, I wanna get back to hosting in my hometown. Feel free to request :)

Hola a todos! Mi nombre es Marcos y tengo 34 años. Soy un chico extrovertido, curioso, sencillo y divertido que lleva viviendo 14 años en Oviedo (Asturias). Me crié en un pueblo muy pequeñín (Grandas de Salime) que se encuentra en la parte occidental de Asturias. Actualmente me encuentro terminando carrera de Ingeniería Informática, preparando mi proyecto de fin de grado al mismo tiempo que estoy trabajando en una empresa informática como desarollador web. ACTUALIZACIÓN JULIO 2022: Vuelvo a estar por Oviedo. Decidí volver a darle otro intento después de todo el lio de la pandemia. Proximamente estaré viajando por los Balcanes con mi novia Aurora desde el 14 de Julio hasta el 29. Después de esto quiero volver a empezar a hostear a gente en casa y recuperar las buenas costumbres. Sientete libre de escribir una petición! :)

Actualmente vivo con mi novia Aurora. Lleva viviendo conmigo desde hace 2 años y tristemente Cosa ya no está entre nosotros :( Ahora tenemos dos gatitos llamados Ekko y Tavira. Te encantará conocerlos! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Me metí en Couchsurfing porque varios de mis amigos me comentaron sobre sus experiencias y dije: "Ostia! Yo quiero también!". Me encanta conocer gente nueva, de distintas culturas, charlar sobre la vida y en diferentes idiomas, y aprender todo lo que pueda!

Llevo viviendo 14 años solo y tengo sitio para alojar a cualquier persona que quiera hacer una visita a la zona por lo que dije: "Empecemos a conocer gente!"

I joined Couchsurfing because some of my friends told me about their experiences and I said: "Hell yeah! I wanna do it too!" I love to meet new people, talk about life, different cultures, different languages and learn everything I can!

I've been living by myself for 17 years and I have enough room to fit someone else for a time so... I said: "Let's meet some new people!"

Interests

Me encanta el fútbol. Mi equipo es el Sporting de Gijón y de manera amateur jugaba en un equipo de futbol 7 local. También me gusta el ski pero actualmente utilizo la mayoría de mi tiempo practicando calistenia, incluso estoy entrenando a gente :)

Me gustan los juegos electrónicos, y además tengo especial interés por temas relacionados con el desarrollo web y software.

I love to watch and play football, rooting for Sporting de Gijón and I used to play with some friends in a local F7 team! I'm also into skying and atm I'm doing mostly calisthenics, I even train some people ;)

I'm interested in e-sports and software/web developing.
