About Me

I have spent many miles in my Tacoma with my dog, Ty, exploring the western united states. I grew up in a small two bedroom farm house with my parents and 5 brothers. From a young age I have always loved exploring the world around me. I love my life and the people in it! I enjoy meeting and talking with most everyone, but I also like being alone. If you want to know anything in particular, go ahead and ask me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I hate staying in hotels is the bottom line. I really enjoy meeting new people and experiencing new things.

My door is always open and am glad to help others out as much as I can.

Interests

Everything. Huge outdoor activities enthusiast. Horseback riding/ ranching, hiking, swimming, fishing, mtn biking, skiing, snowboarding, camping, hot pot soaking, longboarding, animal watching, botanizing (that's looking and learning plants, fyi), floating the river, and much much more.

I'll admit I'm less educated in the arts, but it doesn't mean I don't enjoy experiencing and learning about it. I enjoy reading, museums, plays, and concerts of all sorts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One time while I was at work I witnessed mother nature in action. From out of nowhere I hear this high pitched screeching and next I see a ground squirrel and a black weasel rolling down the road. A battle of life unfolded in the middle of the black asphalt under the hot sun. The weasel locked the squirrel down and it looked like it was over. The weasel thinking he won sought out the nearest shade to cool off before digging into his meal. After a minute or so the squirrel slowly lifted his head to see if the cost was clear and began it get up, but he was too slow and the battle pursued. This went on for several minutes. In the end one of them won and the other lost. If you'd like to know the results go ahead and ask me.

Teach, Learn, Share

All of the above? I love to learn new things as well as share what I know.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A kind, caring, thoughtful, fun friendship. Or I can be just some girl that slept on your couch. My home will also be open to you. If you do come visit I'd be more than willing to show you my home, take you to the mountains, lakes, desert or city. Skiing, snowboarding, snow shoeing in winter, mountain biking, hiking, zip-lining, longboarding, river tubing, and so much more in the summer.
