I am an electronic engineer, with a wide international experience.

Now I am retirede but still very active: I am near to create an Innovative Super Startup based in many locations ( Milan, Venice, Turin, Verona and Mantua in Italy ).
My twin daughters, 40 years old now, in 2017, are also Britis Citizens: they are Electronic Engineers too, Researchers in London since many years.
My son is living in Italy as he studied Economics and Finance : now he is working in a big Italian Bank.
My second Young wife is working in a PET shops, as she loves a lot dogs, cats , birds and other animals too.
We live in a house at groud floor with a garden for small dogs ( Cavalier Kings and Chihuahua), with a big plant of red roses.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Virginia, 20 years old, is the daughter of my friend Fabrizio, adviced me to enter in Couchsurfing community some days ago while I was with them in their nice mountain house in La Thuile, in Aosta Valley , near Mont Blanc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I never thought I could be married a second time at the age of 69 with a young woman 29 years old!
Was God to make me meet her at a course on Wikipedia at Mantua's public libray?
So I cant agree with William shakespeare when he says that the man is a puppet in the hand of a sneering destiny, when he wrote in Macbeth, V,5, 24-26
"Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player
That struts and frets his hour upon the stage
And then is heard no more"
Life is UNPREDICTABLE, she can be even wonderful, even in the darkes hours!

I dont agree with the Latin Roman historina Sallustio who wrote "Faber est suae quisque fortunae": we cant be makers of our fortune, fate play an important role in our lives.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to teach Italian language, literature, art and culture to foreign visitors who love Italy and Italian Life Style.
I can teach and practice Joy Therapy to people.
I like to learn foreign languages and cultures.
I like also culture and habits of the different Regions of Italy: I worked and lived in many different towns of Italy, from Torino, Milano, Verona, Venezia, Mantova to Rome and Naples, through Genoa and Florence, Pisa, Rimini and Pesaro.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I think I am like a Crystal with many faces: I have a lot of experience of life, I have so many different interests that I think it can be easy to find some common interests and share our knowledge ad experience in a stimulating, even joyful way.
