About Me

Oii, God dag,Nǐn hǎo, Bonjour, Asalaam alaikum, Selamat Siang, Kia ora, Ciao, Aloha, Kaixo, Namaste, Hola!

I am Marta and I come from the world. Been travelling since finished my bachelor's degree. I can luckily say I am living my dream! travelled to Indonesia, Thailand, Australia , New Zealand, India, Italy, Portugal, Brazil Hawaii and a few countries in Europe. I lived in NZ for three years. Absolutely loved it, I declare myself in love with the kiwi people and lifestyle.
Meeting new people, meditation, yoga/acroyoga and exercise overall.
Always looking to participate in all kind of healing ceremonies and spiritual events. I enjoy vegetarian/vegan lifestyle and I like drinking only occasionally. I like all kind of Kombucha and ginger beer, I am a big fan of fasting.
I enjoy walks in the nature and I am a curious human. Mechanically minded and always had a lot of questions about how to fix a car but also about life and why we are here.

I like being honest and speaking from my heart. I have recently found out my fauvorite color is orange 🧡 and I am a genuine gemini ♊

I am passionate about music and guitar and absolutely love singing. R and b, reggae and Spanish guitar (Paco de Lucia and Santana are one of my favourites). Basque music and Bachata both been injected in my blood deeply. If you try to put one of this songs in front of me I'll melt, I can feel a lot ! I like cumbia too, and I like pretty much all the food. I am half latina due to my Dominican roots and half Basque.
South America is definitely on my bucket list, together with Jamaica and Southafrica, for instance! So much to see!
I come from a big big family (make a guess on how many you think we are) and I am always happy to listen to others and sharing. I also enjoy having my own solitude time.
Seeing the stars/moon, lighting a bun fire, walking barefoot. Sun. Ginger. Lemon. Turmeric. Yuca. Keep me alive and on earth.
Big fan of candles and all kind of incense.

I believe everyone is worthy and love is the medicine for all the problems in this world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing helped me progress personally in a lot of levels. I got to profound conclusions with strangers staying at their tiny place for only one night or two. I connected to humans very deeply in less than a day (crazy sh**), I cried and laughed insanely and I definitely think this helped me with my trust to people nowadays
