About Me
We are currently looking for a handskilled couchsurfer willing to stay with us for a while and happy to exchange food and accommodation for help with the garden, animals and building animal shelter. Would prefer someone with know how about permaculture, wood work, construction, etc.
Proud supporter of yoga pants, messy hair, and free hugs. Architect of my own life. Living the pursuit of meaning.
I am a wild, soulful, free spirit person, disguised as an average 40 something mum ; )
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet like minded people (meaning open minded) who love to travel and exchange experiences. I enjoy travelling to new places, but what inspires me the most is the people who live in those places, their stories, their experiences, their outlooks of their own lives. I am on a journey to show my children that kindness will prevail in this world, and apart from the everyday duty of compassion for my fellow humans, I try to do humanitarian work whenever possible. Hosting strangers is also a part of this journey of mine.
Interests
I am a bohemian writer, a nomad at heart, mum of two kind hearted kids, and I live by the motto "love heals everything". I find inspiration to write in the stories I hear from strangers.
My favourite thing of all: road trips! I love long road trips and I dream (day and night) about living permanently in a van, just so I could move around the world every time I felt like. See all the sunrises, sunsets and rainbows around this world. I am always up for deep talking, meaningful encounters, and listening to other people's life stories. I believe in spirituality, and I feel that every person that crosses my path, will bring something unique to my life. I embrace life, with all my heart and energy, meaning, I really try to make the most of my time in this world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
To have children- believe me, the biggest adventure in life!
I lived in a VW T3 from 1989 with 2 kids and a big dog. We travelled 11.000 km around Portugal.
I walked over 800km from Lisbon to Fisterra for charity.
I try very hard, every day, to be kind to myself and to others (and this is probably the most amazing thing we humans should do every day of our lives).
