About Me

I'm 23 years old, lived in Israel my entire life. I like to travel, mostly walking or cycling.
I love reading, painting, and meeting new and intresting people.

One would say that I'm a cat person with a dog personallity. Infact, I adore animals of all kind. I believe in Vegan nutrition and lifestyle.
I LOVE food. Spicy food, salty, sweets, old fashion, new fashion. really, all kinds of food that are included under the defenition of veganism.

I don't really believe that writing a few sentences about myself in general, would help creating a clear image of who I am, and if I'm the kind of a stranger you would wish to host in your own living room. Or for that matter, being hosted by.
With that said, here's my Email, and my Facebook profile for you to get some idea of who I am.
Email - which I actually prefer: raykeva@gmail.com
Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/Karen.Ben.David

P.S - for some reason I do not recall, I wrote my name with an 'a' on my facebook profile. Too lazy to change.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's a way, THE WAY, to meet amazing people, which never gets old.
Besides, I have this strong belief that a person who has the courage to open their door to a stranger, is either dumb or kind. I'd go with kind.
I met alot of people, in my former couples CS account, that tend to use CS as a free hostel. To be honest, if you're that type, don't bother sending me request, because I CAN TELL.
As much as anyone who really cares about the true purpose of CS. Which is to be able to travel from your own living room, or others. Views are amazing, but at the end of the trip, you're left with the memories of the people you've met.
And that's, in my point of view, what couchsurfing really is about.

Music, Movies, and Books

I recently discovered that I like more types of music that I thought. My rutes lay in old "Rock-pop" music, such as "Eric clapton", "The Band", "The beatles" and more. But it turns out that I also like Eminem, and trash pop sometimes. so.. go figure.

My favourite book, thats a hard one. I really like Jodi Picoult's books. This one might be a cliche, but I love "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho. It makes me want to take a bag and start walking.

My favourite movie would defenitly be Indiana Jones, the entire series. Not including the 4th one.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can't really name one.
I have walked the INT - Israel national trail. That was an amazing experience.
I crossed portugal by foot, through the route of the Camino De Santiago. I travelled in Spain, had some workaway in Germany, and circled by bicycle the Netherlands.
Of course, participating in CS (when there's a good match) is really amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have great stories, would love to hear new ones.
I'm an above average cook I guess (Vegan foood!).
I feel like there are alot of lessons for me out there, laying in other's sofas.
I would really like to find a way to combine my too many dreams into an exciting form of life. And to meet people who already found their way.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my ideas, and knowlege about my time in the military. I found out that people over seas find it very interesting.
I cook very good vegan dishes, if you'd like to try something new :)
I have alot of stories, and I'm a great listener (accordingly, I love hearing cool stories).
I can share my laugh, time, and basicly anything besides my body. Unfortunatly I had the joy of meeting some unpleasnt men, and I would like to avoid that. I am not a single woman, and besides, I'm a lesbian. So if your main goal is to get laid, I'm not your "gurl".
