About Me

Hello, kind people! My name's Nevena (I go by Neve, though), I'm 23 years old law student. My home university is in Novi Sad, Serbia but currently I'm on an Erasmus+ exchange in Groningen, Netherlands. Prior to pretty much randomly picking law my studies (and I love it now!), I had over a decade of classical music training, so piano used to be my biggest love for quite a while. I'm really into all sorts of arts - love to visit galleries, museums, theaters, love to sing (Karaoke has been my #1 go-to thing ever since I was 13), got myself a huge library back at home and I'm working on my books as well, so yeah, you could say I've got that creative thing going on for me. Which is why I absolutely suck at anything science related, but oh well, can't have it all.

I like meaningful conversations with people who hold different perspectives than myself. I'm always willing to listen and learn and am genuinely open-minded and interested in whatever good this world has to offer. Chit chats over a coffee are kind of a part of my culture, so it's my favorite daytime activity - but I also like a good dance-my-heart-out at a night party kind of ordeal. Also, I absolutely love cats!

Yeah, I'm an extrovert with multitude of interests, kind of all over the place but ultimately kind and empathetic, though it probably comes off as egoistic to say it about myself, but if we meet up, you can review me on that and let me know if I should take that out of my "About me" section ^^

I've traveled across half the Europe already and I'm currently taking on this quest of solo travelling that I've been dreaming about for quite a while now. People just seem to have tons of excuses when I try to plan trips with them, so they never happen and sometimes you gotta take matter into your own hands and live the life you want to live.

[I can't believe I even have to say this, but apparently it's necessary - but please, don't send me flirtatious messages. If I even see so much of a hint of flirtatious intent in the message, I will ignore it. It makes me feel uncomfortable and like you're unsafe for me to hang around. CS is not Tinder for me, I'm not looking for partners or one-night stands here.]

Music, Movies, and Books

Lately I've been strangely into Ariana Grande, but also lately she's been killing it. I listen to all that pop mainstream stuff, to be honest, that Latin music and some Rock oldies. I like classical music as well - Rachmaninoff is my huge love and basically any other composer from Romantic period, especially Russian. I do love Russian literature as well but also fantasy stuff. Would watch LoTR or HP or any Marvel movie with ya - but my absolute faves are the cheesy ones: Moulin Rouge and My Best Friend's Wedding. Sue me!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Getting over a heartbreak, learning how not to hold a grudge, forgiving, finding happiness within myself, lifting my friends up when they're down. I think that's pretty amazing. But also that roller-coaster at Port Aventura park in Barcelona was pretty darn amazing for my thirteen year old self who's afraid of heights!

Teach, Learn, Share

If you got a piano, I can give you some lessons or teach you some Serbian. I have lots of travel stories and multitude of interests! I guess I got a good life advice here and there, as well if you're into that sort of thing - sometimes it's easier to talk to strangers than people you've known your whole life. This is a judgement-free zone.
