I like traveling very much, with my family we prefered traveling without a flight, meet friends or someone we know to learn a little bit of the culture and meet local people.
In my free time I work a lot in my garden, I'm growing my own vegetable and have also bees.
I meet my friends to sing together, also spiritual songs, go dancing, go hiking and meet for a coffee.
In winter sometimes we also go skiing or cross-country skiing and in the short summer I like swimming and cycling, I love to spend the evenings on the fireplace or sleep outside. We have a beautiful place for this under our little wooden house.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Now my children make no more holidays with me and I'll try to travel alone or with my husband and we still prefer to meet local people and not only be just tourists.
I would like to speak with you about your life, your culture, your home country and learn from you.
That's why we also hosted students from Paraguay and Spain for one school year, it was a great experience for us!
I'm looking also forward to show people my home, my little hometowns Freistadt or Linz, if you are interested, I also would like to cook with you local specialities and exchanges recipes.

I like musicals very much, Music from the 80th and 90th, also Patrick Kelly, Imagine Dragons, Barbara Pravi, My favorite books are from Erich Fromm, The alchemist, Über die Grenzen, Favorite films: Weit, Männerherzen, Womit haben wir das verdient (one of the best Austrian films)

I like to share my life with people from an other country and to speak with them about their life at home.
I'm a social worker and so I'm especially interested about social structure in other countries.
I learn always a lot when I'm together with my friend from Irak.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Go hiking, cooking, have time to talk about our life in Austria, tell (or show) you something about my social institution, where I'm working, maybe there is a dancing event close to us, we can visit together
