I am retired from Turkish Army as a Colonel , I am married and have two children . All my children are married and I have threee grandson. My children live at Istanbul and Ankara . I live in Izmir since 1994.I have a lot of good sense of humor. I love traveling , listen to every kind of music , read historical and political books. I like cooking Turkish cuisine ( every kind of meals ) . My home is a flat at an appartment in a big site ( which name is Oyak Sitesi in Turkish ) There is Metro, Bus and Tram transportation system in İzmir , Fahrettin Altay is a nearest metro station to my home which takes 10 min. by walking .

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am experienced in Couchsurfing system before Covid epidemic . So I hosted some guests at my home and made guidence in City tour to them. Also I was a guest in Iran 3 years ago. Izmir is located by the Agean Sea and has a lot of recreation areas. I like to recognize foreign people and their cultures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After retired , I learnt to play Turkish music instrument ( Oud ) and sing Turkish clasical songs in the Choir.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teaching some Turkish words . I have a Wi-Fi internet connection for my guests. I don't deliver keys to the door to my guests . We should make desicion of schedule for going out and return home with my guests. Please feel free to ask some question to me about everythings.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I believe that I will be a good host during your staying in my home and an understandable guest in your home. I can cook Turkish meals , help house work , talk about culture exchange about my country etc..
