About Me

CURRENT MISSION
To try my best and be a better person, more patient and friendly, every day.
To share something valuable with people.
ABOUT ME
I am different every day. It is interesting and hard to be me :D
PHILOSOPHY
Be happy you're still alive. Be happy the sky above your head is peaceful. Be happy everyone you love is alive and healthy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My friends told me about this site, so I registered as I like to travel and meet new people.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I both hosted and surfed.
I like to be hosted and I like to host.
Also I like to hang out with CSers, even if I live in a hotel, I still put an effort to find some CSers in the area.

Interests

Depending on my mood and season it can be everything.
Most often I surf the city for new places to eat and drink. In summertime I prefer to lie on the beach with a good book or friends (or CSers), if I'm not in travelling. During travelling I'm very active and do everything people suggest :). In wintertime I prefer to stay home and throw parties (I like to cook, though I am not very good at it), or read books, or play computer games.
I'm usually not into very active sports, but sometimes I got mood for that, too. Or if someone inspires me. Among active sports cycling is the only thing I really enjoy.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - most preferably classic old-school rock like Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Scorpions and so on. I still love new bands like Muse or The Kooks, and music of different streams, which are folk, metal, hard-rock, punk rock and so on, so on...

Currently I don't have enough time to watch a lot of movies. Sometimes I still watch some sitcoms like Friends or The Big Bang Theory. My favourite "serious" films are: Knockin' on Heaven's door, Jesus Christ Superstar, Everyone says I love you, all films by Andrej Tarkovski. I prefer art-house than stupid comedies or blockbasters.

Books...Reading is a special activity for me...I can talk about books forever. In fact, it's easier to name books I didn't like than books I like. I adore reading.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well...it's worth thinking...
I can find amazing absolutely every minute of my life just because I exist. So it's nothing to tell really, you should just feel it inside you.
For someone it is amazing to dance the whole night being drunk and someone thinks that moving to other city or even country is amazing.
And there are people who think that live their life every single day and do what needs to be done is amazing enough.
It is just the matter of experience.

I personally gave life to a whole new person (even two already)
This is the most amazing thing I've done.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach people how to swear on three languages :)
Also, I can teach those who are interested to cook some Russian and Serbian dishes, I also know how to make rolls.
I can teach some interesting dance moves, because I am fond of dancing and I used to be a professional dancer once (ballroom dancing).

I am eager to learn anything you want to share. Languages especially.

I am always ready to share my wisdom :D.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We live in a small picturesque village near the city of Subotica (27km) in Serbia.

Me, my husband and two our kids are very happy to welcome CSers from different cities and countries in our house.

We live in a semi-detached house, and for now we have two rooms: a bedroom (where three of us sleep) and a living room (where we have a couch for CSers).

For now we are able to host only one or two CSers (one will have to sleep on the floor and we have no matrass or sleeping bag).

We have hot water and are ready to share our food with guests (it is appreciated to chip in).

We are happy to hang out with our guests, playing board games, talking or showing them around the city, but we do not go to bars or night clubs.

We prefer to host our guests no longer than 4-5 days and there are few ground rules you have to accept before we invite you.
