To continue the great job of my aunt Katie, who hosted one and all in her NYC brownstone. OK, my place is not as convenient or globally appealing, but one does what one can!

ABOUT ME

Active in alleviating poverty, and a Feldenkrais Practitioner.

I love the area I am in, and know it pretty well.

I am not a skier/boarder, but I am in the minority so if that is why you are in the area I can point you to some.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is getting shorter, live it well. Not that I always live up to it!

Small pleasures are often more meaningful than big surprises.

Friends are the best thing to keep.

I offer introductions and a brief welcome, then determine if there is more I can offer

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Taught by my parents never to go anywhere I didn't know someone, even if it was the neighbour's sister's friend, so I couch surfed before I knew what to call it! Also ended up hosting diverse family and friends of family and friends of friends of family as a result of this policy!

I don't have a TV, that does anything but hook up to my DVD player. This means I am interested in almost everything else, if only for a brief period of time. Always enjoy conversation, reading, art, walking, snow shoeing, biking.
