ABOUT ME

I think that I am a very fun loving and peaceful person who sometimes talks way too much. I also love making new friends and learning more about the way they believe and live. I am a very open minded person, or at least I like to think that I am, and believe very strongly that all people should respect the beliefs, cultures, and feelings of others as well as their differences.
I was also married to a wonderful woman who was born in Austria and has lived all of her life in Vienna. But, as with many marriages of these times, it has come to an end. But, our friendship remains forever.

PHILOSOPHY

Make friends not war. They cause a lot less pain and a lot more happiness. Always remember "When someone is different it doesn`t mean they are wrong...just different from you. Treat others like you want to be treated and remember that all people have a right to be exactly as they are.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment, I am looking for another place to live, hopefuly with nice people or alone. So, naturaly, I can only offer my time for meeting and helping you see some of Vienna.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only had the chance to help one person since I have been involved. She was a wonderful woman from Hungary and we had some very nice and interesting talks together. I hope to see her again sometime.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Lord of The Rings, The X-Men, Fantastic Four, most movies with a lot of special effects and sci-fi, also Nature Movies, and even those heart warming movies that make strong men cry.
I like Folk Music from other countries, that music you can feel in your heart even if you can not understand the words. I also like Blues and some Jazz.
I do not read a lot, but if it involves feelings that are real or can interest the mind I am open to it.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Amazing is a word that depends on the opinion of each person. Seeing a nice Sunset in a different land is pretty amazing to me. Also, meeting a total stranger and seeing them turn into one of your best friends is pretty amazing to me.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

If age means experience, then I most likely have more of that than a lot of you do. I try to help younger people learn from my mistakes in life and they help me learn to live with the new times. I also want to learn all I can about Indigenous Peoples and their cultures.
