I'm just a little French guy who walks through this world each time I've the chance to do that.
The purpose ? To see the beauty and variety of this world and meet people with different cultures and backgrounds than mine, share them, mix them up and get richer than before.

Usually, my friends say I'm rather a relaxed guy and an easygoing person.... At least, I do my best to be positive and to move forward. Even if it's not always easy.
I think I'm also quite open-minded : curious about life and what I don't know... so, a lot of things.

I'm graduated from a private business school in Paris. I worked 7 years in a big pharmaceutical company. Then, 3 years in a french bank.
In 2009, I decided to completely change my Life. I quit my job, and I traveled with my backpack during 2 years all across Eurasia. I came back with a new approach about Life and what I expect from it.

So, in 2011, I became a teacher of French as a foreign language. I taught in my city of Paris for several years.
In 2017, I settled in Wuhan (China), where I currently work as a university teacher.
I teach kids, students and adults, in university or private lessons.

MY CURRENT MISSION :
Deepen my knowledge and understanding about Japan and Japanese people. I’m quite attracted and interested by this country and culture. I even started to learn some Japanese words (I plan to restart my learning soon).

So, travel again in Japan, stay with local people and help them for some works (volunteering), have direct interactions together and get a good look about their daily life could be the most efficient way to achieve that goal.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

CS is a very enjoyable way to interact with others. Through this really interesting concept, I hope to reach a new level in my relationships with people and cultural exchanges with them.

So, let's see what will happen in the futur and just enjoy !

In the past, I met several people with different believes, traditions, languages, ideas. But each time, there was a good "mix" between them and me, and interesting "atmosphere".

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

Difficult and too restricted question. I appreciate a lot of different musics, movies and books. Choose one of them and claim "That is my favorite one" will not really depict my tastes.

All depend of my mood, the timing, my feelings at that time. I'm very ecletic and open to new discoveries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During 2 years, I walked through the Eurasian continent with my "dear" backpack, using only land transportations (never plane). I crossed 11 countries, met a lot of different  peoples and cultures, enjoyed many experiences (good and bad) and, obviously, I was deeply touched by so many of them.
I stopped this magical journey after meeting and discovered an unexpected side of myself.... while I was on a Pacific island.

Teach, Learn, Share

Obviously, I can teach you French language, as that is one of my main daily occupation. Some words or more complex things are possible : feel free to ask me and we can arrange that.

If your are interested by France or something related to, it will be a pleasure for me to provide you with my own knowledges on these matters.
